Accent lighting of a pre-revolution building

In 2018, we breathed new life into a building erected before the revolution - the former distillery in Ryazan, now a business center. Architectural heritage sites are always fertile ground for exciting work.

From project development to equipment supply and installation

The project in Ryazan moved along smoothly, without force majeure. Even at an early stage, the customer contacted us - the owner of the facility himself. He spent months choosing a contractor and held meetings with us numerous times to make sure of our competence. We successfully passed all the selections. The building owner was confident that our capabilities and our resources would allow us to implement this project in the best possible way. After all, we know what we’re doing.

Together with the customer, we agreed and developed the concept for lighting the building. We carried out a full range of works, from development of project documentation to equipment supply and installation. Since the building is an object of cultural heritage, we went through mandatory approvals with the Ministry of Culture.

In general, when working with similar objects, dozens of issues and details are agreed with the Ministry of Culture. Any hole, change to the façade requires approval. Backlighting was thought out carefully at the facade reconstruction stage.

White light, fixtures to match the red brick

To create accent lighting, we used linear fixtures and spotlights of standard models. It was accent white lighting that perfectly highlighted all the architectural features of the building. Another requirement of the customer was that the fixtures must be painted in the color of the facade. And we fulfilled it - we painted them according to RAL colors to match the red bricks.

What is the result?

The project was implemented promptly, on time, and without any delays. Both the customer and us are happy with the result. Once again, I can say that it is pleasant and interesting to work with architectural objects like the former factory building in Ryazan.
