Dubna Bridge

How we got the project and didn't step in the puddle.

In 2018, we implemented a project for illuminating a four-lane road bridge across the Volga River in the city of Dubna. The project was resonant and symbolic for the city itself. The bridge's opening was eagerly awaited by residents for many years, as it connected two parts of the city. The implementation proved to be very challenging, primarily due to tight deadlines. According to the plan, the bridge was supposed to be illuminated on the eve of the New Year, by December 25. The company responsible for the lighting announced that they wouldn't meet the given deadlines. As a result, this project came to us in November. Time was extremely limited, and the scope of work was gigantic in every aspect of the project.

Our designers made all the necessary changes to the project documentation since it was initially developed for someone else. Everything was done as accurately as possible to avoid violating the implementation deadlines.

4 km of luminaires, a team of installers, special equipment.

We delivered a huge batch of equipment (thanks to our excellent logistics!) - more than 3 thousand units. The length of the bridge is 1940 m, and the illumination should be from both sides. For this, we needed a whopping 4 kilometers of lighting fixtures. In this project, we worked with lighting equipment from the RADUGA company. In a short time, they produced exclusive, non-standard equipment - linear luminaires and floodlights - for illuminating the Volga River bridge. The outer parts of the bridge were decided to be illuminated with white light. In the center, colored lighting was used - the light transitions from blue to white. We assembled a team of installers, found special equipment, which is almost impossible to find during the New Year, especially suitable for working on a project of this type. We also performed commissioning and chief installation using high-quality electrical materials and mounting systems from "HILTI."

Bridge illumination: 34 days, and it's done!

The project was implemented by us in 34 days and completed on schedule. We can confidently say that such challenging tasks evoke enthusiasm and a desire to test ourselves. We are not afraid of short deadlines and complex projects. Our accumulated experience allows us to promptly implement even what seems impossible at first glance.
